Artist Spotlight: Miss Keara

Image Hosted by CHANGEME

So, I have an interest in people who draw, do graphic design, and are into photography because these are all things that I have an interest in. Even more so when they're females. Even more so when they're actually good. No, seriously, she is really nice. I would post a real picture, but you know how girls get if you use the wrong one. She calls herself Miss Keara and I found her on myspace. She did some designs for Uzoy, who happens to be a pretty nice female rapper if say so myself, and that's how I found her.

I had to post this one. It had boobies.

Well, I have to say that her skills make me want to cut my fingers off and sell my computer. I'm completely unworthy. If I didn't have a girlfriend, I'd totally be sweating her on myspace while I typed this.

Brand Spotlight: Sons of Liberty

Rarely does a brand come out that tries to convey a message and almost seem like it's reading my damn mind. Actually, that's, like, never. However, Sons of Liberty managed to do that by constantly putting out shirts that I want. First, it was their adamant support of Barack Obama. They have like four Obama tees, but this one is my favorite:

Then, when I crossed their brand again, they had a shirt that could help me voice my sentiments towards MTV (except Real World and America's Best Dance Crew. Those shows are awesome.

Although I like Nikes, I feel that they are painfully overhyped and all of the *ahem* hypebeasts feel that they can do no wrong, then BAM!

Then the one that finally sealed the deal is:

Sons of Liberty the Cool tee

It's one of the better The Cool tees, if not one of the best Lupe Fiasco shirts any brand's ever made. Since I'm an avid Lupe Fiasco stan, this could possibly be the best thing this brand could have done to earn a fan. I plan on owning all of those shirts before the end of the year. Nigga got expenses, you know?

Spotlight: Boogie

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then Boogie's photographs are worth way more. He almost reawakens my interest in photography. Check out a photo essay he did for Time. His only pictures are not just of drugs and gangs, though. Check out his website, too.
